YMH Driving School Terms and Conditions

1. Lesson Booking:

  • Lessons must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

2. Lesson Duration:

  • Lessons are available in durations of 1 hour, 1.5 hours, and 2 hours, except for intensive courses where lesson time frames can be agreed upon.

3. Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations must be made with a minimum of 48 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson will result in you being charged the full lesson fee.

4. 10-Hour Block Usage:

  • A 10-hour block package can only be used on 2-hour lessons.

  • The 10-hour block package is non-transferable and must be used within a specified timeframe, typically six months from the date of purchase.

5. Lesson Content:

  • Each lesson will cover a range of driving skills and manoeuvres relevant to the learner's proficiency.

  • The instructor reserves the right to alter the lesson plan to address specific needs or concerns.

6. Learner Requirements:

  • Learners must hold a valid provisional driving licence.

  • Learners must ensure they are fit to drive and free from any substances that may impair their driving ability.

7. Vehicle Usage:

  • The instructor's vehicle will be used for lessons, and it is the responsibility of the learner to treat the vehicle with care.

  • Any damage caused by the learner due to negligence will be the financial responsibility of the learner.

8. Conduct:

  • Respectful and courteous behaviour is expected during lessons.

  • The instructor reserves the right to terminate a lesson if the learner's behaviour poses a safety risk.

9. Refund Policy:

  • Refunds for prepaid lessons or packages will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to administrative fees.

10. Data Protection:

  • Personal information provided by the learner will be used solely for the purpose of delivering driving lessons and will not be shared with third parties.

11. Termination of Services:

  • YMH Driving School reserves the right to terminate services if a learner fails to comply with these terms and conditions or engages in unsafe driving practices.
